This morning we had our first chapel service. In chapel and Bible studies today the kids are learning about how Jesus’ life on Earth set the perfect example for us to follow.
Before lunch, we played one of Wapo’s favorite field games: Mighty Mighty Scoop Noodle Challenge. It’s a simple game with a crazy name, played a lot like Capture the Flag except with some strange objects like swimming noodles.
After lunch, we headed down to the beach to learn the waterfront rules and take swim tests. The chilly water didn’t stop them from having a great time in the lake! Then the kids enjoyed some free time before dinner.
Tonight, the kids enjoyed praising God at another campfire. Then, the Beta campers (7th-9th graders) got to experience a special worship time which focused on prayer. They were introduced to many unique ways to pray and things to pray about, such as writing letters to God and praying for our enemies.
