Thursday Morning

Today is the campers’ last full day here at Wapo and it is definitely going to be a day to remember. It is packed with many fun activities! This morning we played one of our craziest field games: Hula Launchers. The kids get to launch balls using a water balloon launcher into a net across the field to earn points for their team.

This afternoon we had our annual beach bash. At the bash kids can participate in various games to win tokens that win them prizes, such as sinking their counselor in a canoe and sending their counselor to 30 seconds on the dance floor. Some of the competitions are a belly flop contest, sand castle building contest, and tug of war. At the end, some lucky campers are called up to pie their counselor in the face. It is always a great event! We look forward to everything else today holds!
