Good morning all! We’ve had a busy morning at Camp Wapo. We’ve had breakfast, chapel, bible study, field games, and lunch already today!
At chapel this morning, we sang “Fruits of the Spirit”… ♫The fruit of the spirit’s not a watermelon, it’s love, joy, peace, patience …♫
Our counselors performed a skit this morning about how we are all called to the race by Jesus.
Our theme today is “Called to the Race” and so our message this morning was from Zebedee. He talked about his sons, James and John, and how they responded to Jesus’ call to follow Him.
Our confirmation group headed to Ox Lake to do the low ropes challenge course.
Our low ropes course is challenging, but as you can see it’s a lot of fun too!
These campers are working together to rearrange themselves on the log, without stepping off.
It’s good to have support from your friends especially during this challenge activity!
This morning, we got our face paint on and headed to the soccer fields for a game of “Mighty Mighty Scoop Noodle Challenge”!
Campers have to race across to the other side, grab an object and get back without being tagged!
No worries, if you get tagged, your teammate can run across the line, tag you, and you can skip back to your side together!
Campers try to quickly throw a football to their side of the field before being tagged!
Mighty moves during Mighty Mighty!
“Here at Wapo, when we play together… we pray together!”
We’re headed to swim tests soon; there’s still a lot more fun to be had today!
