Sunday July 12th Update

Good evening families and friends!

We’ve had a fun first evening at camp! We met with our cabins, played icebreaker games, ate dinner, had a Bible study, learned about this weeks’theme of #amazingrace, met the rest of the Wapo staff, participated in Alpha (4th-6th grade) or Beta (7th-9th grade) activity, AND had indoor campfire! Camp is full of excitement!

We also want you all to know that we are keeping a close eye on the weather for this evening and that our top priority is to keep your children safe. So far, we’ve been able to stay on schedule with our activities! Our staff will be monitoring the radar throughout the night until the storm passes. We are prepared to move to shelter if it becomes necessary. We will keep you updated on the Facebook page and on our blog site! We will also post pictures from tonight on the blog  tomorrow! Now campers are headed back to their cabins for cabin devotions and lights out!
