Wapo Thursday August 13th
Good evening families and friends! Our last full day of camp has come to a close! We had chapel, field games, cabin time, free time, banquet, masterpiece, canteen time, and campfire! Now we are spending our final nights with our cabins! It’s hard to believe our week is almost over!
Our theme for today was “Stumbling in the Race”! We learned about the story of the Prodigal Son and his return home after disobeying his father!
At field games, we played Hula Launchers!
Campers have to retrieve these balls from the other side of the field and launch them across the field into a giant net!
It’s tricky than it looks to launch the hula balls…
but it was a lot of fun!
At banquet tonight, we dressed up…
and got escorted into dinner! It was so fancy!
Our counselors were crazy at Masterpiece!
They performed tons of silly skits…
and some campers even got called up to participate!
It was hilarious!
We sang and danced our hearts out at our final campfire!
That’s all for tonight! We hope to see you all tomorrow at closing worship! It’s at 1pm at the main campfire ring by the beach!
