Good Evening! We’ve had such a great afternoon! After we checked everyone in, campers got into their cabin groups and did some ice breakers and games to get to know each other.
After ice breakers, it was time for dinner and bible study. We then headed over to Commons for staff introductions and our all camp picture.
Then we moved into Alpha (4th-6th graders) and Beta (7th-9th graders) activities. The 4th-6th graders went to different stations around camp. At one station, they learned about First Aid and got to cover their counselors in toilet paper. It was educational and fun.
The 7th-9th graders participated in a scavenger hunt all around camp. They were given clues to decipher and then had to go to different places to find the next clue. It was a lot of fun!
After we finished up with those activities we transitioned in campfire. Luke, our program director, gave a talk on our theme: Fearless!
Now it’s time for night meds, devotions, and bed! Good night!
